I must be growing up

It's official.
I am too old to watch MTV's "The Real World" anymore.

That's okay, I have now filled that position with the newest pinnacle of trash, VH1's "Bret Michael's Rock of Love". Truly what fine entertainment should be.

I must say this post is music to my ears. I recall when the blogger thought "The Real World" was important television programming. I found it to be populated with utterly self-absorbed young people that really didn't remind me of the blogger.

Instead of "Brett Michaels…" my wife and I found "Scott Baio is 45 and Single" to be much more compelling TV. You never know just how manipulated you are with a reality program, but Scott seemed sincere, and it was fun to see him in "fish out of water" experiences.

Hang in there Mel, growing up doesn't mean you have to grow old.

While the blogger and her brother are enjoying Brett Michael and Scott Baio, this sibling loves Rob and Big. I have downloaded all episodes and re-watch them nearly weekly. Dog the Bounty Hunter and Gene Simmon's reality show are my two faves on A and E.

Long live reality TV
